LOKI KA HALWa

Servings – 4

INGREDIENTS:

Lauki (Doodhi) (Candy Gourd) finely grated – Four cups
Milk – 1 cup/150 ml
Pure Ghee – half of cup
Sweetened Condensed Milk – half of tin/200 gm
Green Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp
Almonds – 5 chopped
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Cashewnuts – 5 chopped
Green Meals Colour – 1/Four tsp (Elective)

METHOD:

Heat up ghee in a wok, add the cashew nuts, raisins and almonds and fry until golden brown, then add the grated lauki and sauté for a couple of minutes.
Then add the milk and cook dinner until the lauki is comfortable, combine within the green shade and stir properly.
Now add sweetened condensed milk and stir constantly until the combination is thick. Sprinkle the cardamom powder, combine properly and take away from fire.
Serve hot in winter time. Serve chilly in summer season.
