Components

  • 10 chicken shanks
  • 4 bags of rice (I’m parboiled)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 teaspoons of sweet pepper powder
  • a pinch of chilli powder
  • salt pepper
  • rapeseed oil for frying
  • For pouring rice:
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons spicy ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons tomato concentrate
  • 2 teaspoons of sweet pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons of Provencal or Mediterranean herbs
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Stick the sticks with sweet and spicy peppers (if you do not like spicy you can skip it), salt and pepper, fry in oil.
Mix the ingredients of the pickle in a pot and boil.
In a casserole, pour rice onto the bottom, put on slices of onion and fried sticks, pour over the hot pickle and put in the oven – bake 180 degrees about 1 hour (I still kept in the closed oven for about 30 minutes) and they were perfect – delicious! !
